Cindy Fish
Secretary
Sager Middle School
Years at CPPS 34
What did you want to be when you grew up? A cartoonist because I loved to draw and doodle.
Who was your favorite teacher and why?
I wasn’t close to my teachers because my family moved so much when I was growing up as my dad was in the military. So I would have to say, Bud Kinzer. He was the principal at Sager and he hired me to work at Sager in the Resource Room. That was the start of my career here at CPPS.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I won a contest in high school for Hallmark Cards.
What is your biggest life lesson?
I try to make sure that kids know that they are loved and cared for at school. I went to 14 different schools growing up and I want all kids to feel like they belong.
Why do you love working at CPPS?
I love CPPS because people here are like family to me.

Her dedication to College Place schools is only rivaled by her love of her family, and I appreciate her efforts every day. To paraphrase her favorite cartoonist, - You're a good person Cindy Fish.”
