CPHS Families,
This Thursday, Nov. 5th, 2020 will be the last day of in-person Athletics and Extracurricular Club Activities until further notice. All CPPS schools are moving back to the full remote learning beginning Monday, Nov. 9. The CPPS Leadership Team will continue to work with local officials to determine when it is safe to return to the hybrid learning model and possibly in-person athletics and activities.
Our coaches and advisors have done a great job preparing a safe and active environment for our students involved in extracurricular activities. We have had no issues with COVID within the school district during our return to the hybrid model and athletic activities. Unfortunately, the circumstances surrounding COVID in our county and local community have changed pretty drastically over the past weeks, and we are forced to make this change. Mr. Fry sent out more specific information regarding this decision and next steps for the district that has been sent to families.
We are hopeful our Hawks will continue to engage fully in the classroom and achieve at a high level as we know you all can. Club members please stay involved and look for opportunities to engage through the virtual setting. Athletes should stay ready, keep working out and training on your own from home, YOUR TIME WILL COME!
As next steps are determined we will keep you informed. If you have questions please contact me.
GO HAWKS!
