Greetings Parents and Guardians:

\r\n

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I am extremely proud to serve the great students, families, staff, and community of College Place.  The leadership team has been working this summer to prepare for an awesome school year. As our district continues to grow and evolve, we are striving to make CPPS an even better place to learn for all students.  I have been learning a lot about the district and the community and am excited for the future of our district.

My wife Angie and our four boys (three who will attend CPPS) are proud to join the College Place community.  Thank you to all who have welcomed us to the area. We look forward to the years ahead and I look forward to working to continue to make College Place Public Schools the the public school of choice for students in College Place.

This year our staff will continue to grow in our ability to connect teaching to the unique learning needs of our students.  We will spend this year expanding our understanding of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) and the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs); which will help us to do this.  I invite you to explore why this work is so important by visiting the links above.

Finally, as we embrace what lies ahead in the 2019-2020 school year, I invite you to partner with us to make this year even more memorable and to support our work by engaging with us by giving your input and feedback on how we are doing.  I can always be reached by email at jfry@cpps.org or by calling the district office at (509) 525-4827 .  Thank you in advance for the teamwork on the road ahead.
