Monday, 3/39 @ 6:00pm, we will host a virtual incoming 9th grade Parent Night.
We will share information that we are sharing with the 8th grade in Ms. Stone's class this week. Topics include: Hawks 101 info, courses & future scheduling registration, bell schedule, athletics/clubs info, & more. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the high school, or the scheduling process.
Overview of the Future Scheduling process: Mon, 3/29: High School staff conduct the "Hawks 101" presentation and Q&A in Ms. Stone's Science class.

REMINDER: Tomorrow, March 1, is an At-Home Learning Day! Students will log on at 8 AM. Students will have all six classes for 35 minutes.

Due to weather and field conditions the CPHS Girls Soccer game v. Connell tomorrow, Feb. 20 is officially cancelled. The team will still hold practices today and coaches will inform players and families about potential practice plans for Saturday in place of the cancelled game.

Tomorrow John Sager Middle School will return to a Hybrid mode of instruction. School will start at 8 AM for morning students and 12:15 PM for afternoon students.

Here is our “Snow Day” information.
AM Onsite Programs Pushed to Remote (Think 2 hour Delay):
If road/county conditions are such that two hours would make a significant difference in their improvement we would employ an "AM Onsite Programs Pushed to Remote". That means that ALL AM onsite services are suspended for the morning.
--AM Hybrid and Onsite Students will attend online learning via Google Classroom from 8:00-10:45 (or packets when necessary)
--SMS/CPHS remote learning will continue as usual via Google Classroom from 9:00-12:00
*Any morning athletics will be cancelled
--PM Hybrid and Onsite Students will attend as per usual onsite at 12:15 p.m.
--SMS/CPHS PM Special groups (Life Skills, Academy Students) will attend as per usual
*Learning Lab will continue all day as per usual
Staff should plan to come onsite for regular duties when it is safe to do so. If staff are unable, they may teach remotely for the AM session so long as the quality of bandwidth/delivery is the same as onsite.
Meals for AM students will be available from 10:45-11:15 at CPHS, Davis, Valle Lindo, and Homestead.

Thank you for all your support. Last week, the staff and I enjoyed seeing the return of most of the students.
Tomorrow is a YELLOW Day (Periods 4, 5, 6). The morning session begins at 8 AM and the afternoon session begins at 12:15 PM. If you are dropping off your student please do so 15 minutes before the start of the instructional session.
REMINDER: All students must complete the Wellness Form before they are allowed into classes. We have experienced more families are using the electronic version of the Wellness Form and student are getting into class quicker. Thank you AGAIN!

Monday most students will return to Sager Middle School either for the AM or PM. To prepare for this transition, students will not be able to meet with their teachers this afternoon for office hours.
Classes are IN Session Today, but no office hours in the afternoon. Students should be working on their independent work.

Monday, October 5th is a half day. Students will attend all periods. Each period is 25 minutes. Please see the schedule attached or its on the website under bell schedules. There will be no afternoon office hours on Monday. The Sager Academy will only be on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Remember there is no school on Thursday or Friday for the students.
